Solid place for good eats and drinks. Upscale but low key about it. I came in after being in meetings all day and found the only empty seat left at the bar. Service was quick, attentive, and never made me feel hurried. For a place to decompress after a long day, and to wait out DC metro traffic, this place was perfect. Would come again if I am ever in the area.
Just visited here for the first time and it was amazing! The drinks were reasonably priced. The food was fresh and very tasty. I had the fish sandwich and it was perfect! I'm still shocked at how fresh the ingredients of my salad was. I've only got that level of freshness when I make them myself at home. Which I do quite frequently! The hostess Jasmine is a delight! She's very professional, friendly, and she's great at what she do!. Our server Beatrice was top tier, her level of attentive was unmatched! Her menu recommendations were spot on, she never left us waiting for absolutely anything. Come see her! You won't be disappointed!

I recently tried this restaurant, and the food was excellent! The presentation was clean and appetizing — both plates looked colorful and neatly arranged. The burger had a soft, fresh bun and juicy patty, and the sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside and tender inside. The sandwich was warm, cheesy, and packed with flavor, served with classic fries that tasted homemade. The service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming. Big fan of this place. Our food was awesome and the portions are big. We have been there twice and randomly got the same booth twice. Our service was reasonably quick and the server was great. We will go here again!
This is the bomb!!! We had seven people seven different meals and all great, JUST EAT AND ENJOY. We will be back until we eat each item. Love the Key lime pie.
It's rare that I give a place 5 STARS, but honestly, this place really deserves it! Due to food allergies, I look for great gluten free restaurants, and Burton's not only has a menu FULL of amazing gluten-free food from appetizers, to entrees, to desserts and everything in between, but it also has a dedicated fryer and preparation area to accommodate food allergies. The food, OMG, was so fresh and DELICIOUS 😋 They had all the good eats (and drinks)! But also, the service‼️ My server, Laurel, was so sweet & attentive and made us feel welcomed! Very enjoyable feom the moment we were seated!! Annnnd it was me & my hubby's anniversary, and they made a handmade card and the kitchen staff signed it!! It was sooo sweet! The chocolate cake also had a special edible happy anniversary treat! Loved it!! This place is a 10/10 definite recommend‼️ And I will for sure be coming back 😊
As someone with Celiac, going to a restaurant and being able to order virtually anything on the menu (including fried items) is an extraordinarily rare experience that Burton’s provides. I had the best burger that I have ever had since being diagnosed with Celiac disease. The gluten free bun held up well even though the burger was pretty thick and had a ton of toppings and sauce. The service was great and the atmosphere was lovely as well. The gluten free menu was also one of the most extensive I have ever seen. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and can’t wait to be back!
Today was my first time eating here. It was a pretty good experience. I didnt understand why it took the amount of time for my food to come out. Bread and artichoke dip came out quickly but my side ceasar that I wanted as my appetizer came out later; closer to my food. Honestly thought my food was going to come before my salad. Overall the food was delicious. Waiter was amazing and very attentive, very knowledgeable about the menu and food options.
I was in Alexandria, VA to create content around some amazing rock music connections and came across Burton’s Grill and Bar. Their gluten-free menu caught my attention so I went in and sat at the bar. I enjoyed top-notch service and can’t say enough about the atmosphere and the food quality. I’m not usually a bread eater, but I had to try their gluten-free bread service (since that is so rare), and it was absolutely delicious. My steak was cooked to perfection and the cocktails were a very nice touch. 😃✌️💕🎶
